A little about Brian : My name is Brian, and I’m originally from Cuba. I’m currently an RBT working toward becoming a BCBA. I’m in my final semester of my master’s program and eager to take the next step in my career. Some of my favorite hobbies include golfing, reading, and hiking. I also love traveling and exploring new places. I’m passionate about the field of ABA because I truly enjoy helping others and making a positive difference in the lives of my clients. Seeing progress and knowing that my work contributes to improving their quality of life is what makes this field so meaningful to me.

A little about Yully: I graduated from Florida international university with a bachelor in psychology and criminal justice, while studying at FIU I discovered the field in ABA, I always been passionate about the field and knew I wanted to study Behavioral analysis. and helping others in 2023 I started working as an RBT and I planned to get My master on ABA and became a BCBA. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish. I love working for EMT and working with all the wonderful clients and people.

A little about Nancy: I graduated from the University of South Florida with a bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Healthcare, concentrating in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). After graduation, I worked for two years in a mental health residential facility, where I strengthened my passion for helping others—realizing I definitely wanted to work with children.

This field is especially meaningful to me because I have a sibling on the spectrum. Growing up, I always believed she was capable of so much more than others assumed, and that experience continues to inspire my work today.

I’ve been an RBT for over four years and am currently pursuing my master’s degree, with the goal of becoming a BCBA within the next three years. I really appreciate the strong supervision and open communication we have here at EMT—whether it’s between coworkers, caregivers, or BCBAs, collaboration is always effective and supportive.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find my husband and me at Disney—it’s our second home! I also adore my two amazing cats, and coffee is definitely my favorite reinforcer.

A little about Guillermo: Hi, I’m Guillermo! I’m currently an RBT working toward my goal of becoming a BCBA. I’ve always loved caring for and working with children even since I was a kid myself so when a family friend suggested this field before college, it felt like the perfect fit. From pairing to debriefing, every day in this work feels like a nonstop rollercoaster. What keeps me going are the little things, especially a child’s smile or laugh which always remind me there’s a reason to have a bright day. I take pride in the work I do, the person I’m becoming, and the difference I strive to make. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, diving into a good book, and (fun fact) you’ll often find me out on the dance floor line dancing!

A little bit about Jennifer: I got into the ABA field after a family recommendation, and what started as a curiosity turned into something I truly love. I’ve always had a soft spot for working with kids, and seeing their growth, no matter how big or small, reminds me why I chose this path. I am currently finishing my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and working toward becoming a BCBA one day. It’s a goal that keeps me motivated, and I’m grateful for every client and family I’ve been able to learn from along the way. Outside of work, I love spending quality time with my family, staying active, and playing pickleball.

A little about Ariana: Hi, I’m Ariana! I’ve been working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) for 2 years now. I am currently pursuing my masters degree in Applied Behavioral Analysis at Florida Institute of Technology. My goal is to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), it has always been my dream to find a career working with children. Finding this field and learning more about ABA has completely changed my life for the better. In my free time, I enjoy beach days and time with my family. Seeing all the kiddos grow before our eyes in so many aspects with all the hard work they put in is the best part of this field, knowing I am just a little piece in their journey makes it all worth it. Being at EMT, I have grown as an RBT and I am so thankful to have such supportive BCBA’s and a team that supports one another all around.

A little bit more: Hi, my name is Joyce Ellison. I was born and raised in Puerto Rico. I’m a mental health enthusiast. I Love spending time with my family, in nature, listening to Latin music and practicing mindfulness. I completed my Child Development Associate (CDA) in the year 2000 and have been loving working with children since! I’m experienced working with typically developing children as well as children with ASD. I have a great passion for helping children with ASD develop every day, learning new skills and reaching their highest potential. A little about Mayra : Hi, I’m Mayra Paredes, I’m an RBT lead and I have been working with children for the past 10 years.
